Yvonne Anderson completes her signing with Valencia Basket 

Point guard/shooting guard Yvonne Anderson (35 years old, USA/Serbia, 1.75 m) is officially a new Valencia Basket player until the end of the season, after successfully passing her medical and physical examinations, as well as the cardiological tests at Quirónsalud.

The new taronja player underwent her medical check-up this Tuesday at the Quirónsalud Mercado de Colón Medical Center, carried out by Valencia Basket’s head physician, Dr. Vicente Sebastiá, as well as cardiological tests with Dr. Catheline Lauwers, all with satisfactory results.

The American-born player with Serbian nationality is an experienced EuroLeague Women competitor and arrives from ŽKK Crvena Zvezda, where she was averaging 13 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game in the EuroCup Women. She has also played for several EuroLeague teams such as ÇİMSA ÇBK Mersin, Fenerbahçe — with whom she won Europe’s top club title — Tango Bourges, and Umana Reyer Venezia, among others. She also had a brief stint in the WNBA with the Connecticut Sun and the Minnesota Lynx. At international level, she has represented Serbia since 2020 and won the gold medal at the EuroBasket in Valencia in 2021.
